Looks same as ours on our N+B Arto (2003) and they do swing - at least both do now, one was stuck and needed a new part machined up, but the garage got that done last week, and now both are folding back easily if needed.

We have had our Hymer for 11 years (2003 model) and I have never been able to swing the mirror arms. They are Mekra units which, I think, were commonly fitted to A-Class vans at the time.

Maybe they have been seized for 11 years - one of mine was and the garage could not free it, thus the new part.

I am now a swinger(double)

We have a Burstner Elegance and until this post never thought that the mirrors could be moved. When I went out and gave them a push - lo and behold - they moved (but not very far as the mirror frame soon came into contact with the window). However this small amount of movement may come in useful some day. (y)(y)(y)

Thanks for the info, but as I’ve never felt a compelling need to swing, I think I’ll leave well alone!
