We love that area so much we've done it 4 times in the last 2 years, having not done the UK much at all for many years it was only due to covid and my Mum that we had to stay in the UK and we found it lovely up there, hence our returns. Even at this time of year I'd love to be there, in fact if I could I've move there tomorrow!Probably.
I say exactly the same thing when I see Northumberland on some travel TV show, or a tour in the Motorhome/caravan magazines.
Saying that, we did the SWC300 pre lockdown in the January and it was magnificent, being able to see Cumbria, Isle of Man and Ireland from one particular point and be more Southern than home whilst being in Scotland was exceptional
