The problem with all this hocus pocus is that if something bad happens you never know whether it's because you walked under a ladder, broke a mirror, or it's Friday 13th, but, even though most of us don't believe any of it, why take the risk!?

The bananas is because if you put them by other fruit the other fruit goes off

Hi.
With regard to Hawthorne,i think it is the Blossom,the story handed down the generations of our family,say a death happened to a relative ,blamed to the bringing in/wearing,of Hawthorne Blossom,which was considered to be unlucky.
