IH are fitting these aerials on their van conversions (they look like a golf ball) has anyone got one and are they any good?

I tried one.It was ok in strong signal areas but not in weak areas.Replaced it with a status and that is far superior.

As a rule of thumb where aerials are concerned look at those fitted to houses, are they tiny little things or large ones? They are generally the larger items and this is simply because that is what is needed to receive a reliable strong signal. Taking that as a reference point why does anyone think a small compact aerial will work on a motorhome that could be going anywhere in the country?
