Hi, get new van in a couple of weeks dealer has offered to supaguard /diamondbrite (same stuff ?? ) for £250 should I or shouldn't I or do I buy a good polish and wax if the latter which ones do you recommend . Tia

Dealers make good money on these treatments. The vehicle does come gleaming and the protection is quite long-lasting, but perfectly possible to do the same yourself, given many hours of elbow grease and some hi-tech compounds.

They make a big mark-up on those bodywork treatment packs.
Can you apply it yourself if you buy the liquids for 1/5th price?
Or get it included in the deal?

If you feel like doing it yourself the chemicals will cost less than 25 quid.
