Germany is often cited as a fine example of a successful economy, yet virtually every shop shuts on a Sunday.

In France many of their supermarkets are shut on Sundays.

From my own viewpoint, as one who trades at weekend collectors' events, it would be interesting to see if my trade either dropped or increased if the nearby shops closed on Sundays.
