My Adria habitation battery was changed recently from the AGM type supplied to a Wet type battery supplied by Tayna batteries.
I have a Sun SC300M MPPT controller linked to a solar panel.
Adria set the jumper within the controller for the AGM battery supplied.

Question: Should I change the jumper setting inside the controller to the "Wet" battery setting or leave it on "AGM"?
Will ther be any issues created by not setting for a Wet battery?
To change it I'll need to buy a suitable jumper as the default setting requires no jumper.
Thanks

Yes change it, with the AGM setting the charge voltage will probably be too high and it will seriously shorten the life of the new battery, which could even cause it to gas off which is dangerous. You also need to change the 230v charger settings for the same reason.

Look like standard jumpers used on computer PCB's.

Thanks Lenny. I have changed the 230v main charger battery setting.
Problem is the lack of a jumper. The unit has got a jumper which disables the desulphation feature to the default setting.
Could I use that jumper leaving the desulphation enabled?

I wouldn't do that, a local computer shop will probably give you one.

Local shop suggested bending the two pins to touch or a drop of solder to join. :(

I was going to suggest that but as you weren't familiar with that jumper I didn't expect you to be able to solder.

One of these. Pin spacing on your pcb is probably 2.54mm (1/10 inch)
Or you could splash out and get one with a bit of a handle to make it easier to replace.
Thanks for sourcing these. I was going to buy until I saw the handling charge, pricey!
These are exactly what I need and cheaper. https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/jumpers-shunts/2518575
