Seriously .. Summer is taking the p!ss this year.
We are still in France on our 15 day vacation.
We've been using Aires to get down to Lectoure (NE of Toulouse) for our 7 nights on Yelloh village site.
Nice and hot driving down, fairly cloudy 1st thing, but the sun broke through and it was enjoyable.
Since pitching up we had 3 reasonable days of weather, then Wed evening the thunder wind hail was a major pain in the @ss whilst ordering 'frites' with my 7year old son both in shorts running down a steep hill with him in 1 arm chips and his flip flops in the other to get back to our pitch.
The following days have been cloudy and grey with the sun making an appearance about 3-4pm for a couple of hours. NOT the weather we came here for.
The forecast for the reminder of our holiday is low 20's with cloud , so we packed up left the pitch a day early and followed the France weather map to the Mediterranean coast north of Perpingnan.
On arrival the sun was shining with quite a strong breeze, but very soon the bloody cloud rolled in for the remainder of the day
The beauty of MH touring, to go when & where you want.
I know that back at home weather has been worse, but C'MON.. .. ..
Still searching .. John&Kate
