Hi All,

Yes I know, I could have put this in the 'France' section but as more of you will have been to France before, I thought I would post here.

Me and SWMBO will be getting on the Roscoff Ferry on the 16th July (coming home).
To that end, we will be in french France when they celebrate all things Republic on the 14th.

Has anyone any good experiences of the celebrations, particularly in the North East corner that will allow us to enjoy the festivities without having to drive half way across France the following day (with a Gendarme around every bush, breathyliser in hand).
All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Why not stop around Roscoff for Bastille Day

French people go to town on that celebration there will be nothing open except the Bakers
