Hi All,
I saw a post on here in 2018 regarding someone rejecting a motorhome previously after 2 years of ownership and some of the advice was incorrect. I have just successfully rejected a motorhome which was slightly over the 2 years and thought I would post in case anyone needed help.
The motorhome was purchased through finance with Blackhorse and had several issues all repairable under warranty, however I wished to reject the motorhome and it took 8 month to get to the resolution. Most people would give up but through sheer determination I got what I wanted in the end. I had to jump through hoops, prove things I hadn't a clue about but research and keeping going paid off in the end.
The motorhome I purchased was Brand New in 2018 and was bought from Lowdhams. It had several faults over a 18 month period which included minor and major faults. Keeping a timeline is impetrative and certainly paid off with the rejection being upheld by the Financial Ombundsman.
I can go into everything if required just drop me a post back and I will explain more what the law says and how I managed to convince the FO that the items were not fit for purpose.
