Montreuil in wrong direction and Bing maps says 3 hours from Calais. Looked at Neufchatel but Camping St Claire is not open although I've just spotted what I think is an aire called Camping St Claire which is open all year - is this the one you were suggesting? By the way, our next stop is Parc Verger - maybe we'll get to meet you.Neufchatel en Bray or Montreuil if you want nearer

Suggest you download aire locations from Camping car infos, Search for Sites, Bordatlas etc there is a wealth of information out there and these sites also have smartphone apps to which are very good. If you arrive at an aire to find it closed or there is no water you should be able to find an alternative. We get the Chunnel on 24/11 heading south. Looking for a site or aire which is open in November no more than about 2 hours south of Calais somewhere near the A28/E44, and NOT driving through Rouen.
Struggling a bit with this one - any suggestions please?
