Fairly new, since Sept 2016
We have an Autotrail Imala which is 2 years old. It has strip lights under the cupboards over the bed, in the bathroom and also in the shower. The one over the bed has always been temperamental. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but mostly it comes partly on. The one in the bathroom has now started doing this. The shower one did this once.

We asked the dealer to look at it during its first habitation check but they said it was working correctly when they had it!

I have tried banging around the switch and also took the switch plate off and the wiring appears to be fine. Anyone have any idea why this is happening and how we can fix it? .

Replace with LED tape/strips, cheap as chips from well known sources.
replaced 3 Tubes in the back of our kontiki 679. Used 2 strips to improve the reading light levels. Just bought 12Vdc strips and connected to the existing switched supply for the strip tubes.

no more issues with Flickering temperamental tubes, bonus is less current consumption And longer life.
