Hi All,
My strip light above the kitchen on my Hymer b584 2001 model is on the blink, I've looked at the casing and not sure how to remove it, don't want to get heavy handed and break anything, I've looked at it a couple of times as I would like to clean the extractor fan filter too, any advise welcome

Had mine apart but can't remember how, maybe a small screw on end cap, opposite end to switch.
If not maybe it just prises off. Do remember it wasn't difficult.
Edit. Just read again and seen it kitchen fitting, might be different but I'm still sure not difficult to figure out.

To remove mine I simply pressed the edges together and it popped out, the edges have a little lip that sits within the frame.

To change the tube, you push the back edge of the defuser forwards and then hooks in the front edge. To clean the fan you need to drop the whole assembly down, this is held up by 6 screws from inside the cupboard above.
I removed all the tube power and replaced with LED stuck full length where the tube was.

not long enough
I had to remove the whole fitting on mine to change to LED, mines a later model Hymer, but the fitting was bolted through into the cupboard above, had to unscrew a false base to get at it inside the cupboard
