Strip between the roofing panels coming unstuck

We have recently purchased a Dethleffs Trend Motorhome in U.K. and taken it on holiday to Tenerife,before we even got to warm climates we could see the strips becoming unstuck!We don’t want to start using glues anyone else had this problem?
