Hope you have recovered from the economic disaster at Peterborough . . . . keep smiling ( through the tears ),

I booked earlier this week for Stratford, if you could include me in your lists please,

Look forward to seeing you and all funsters then, hopefully with a bit of nice warm sun, we have been bloody starved of that up here for a long time,

For those of us with dimensionally-challenged motorhomes, are there shower facilities at the Stratford show? Are they available all week, or just from the Thursday/Friday?

I've looked at Stone Leisure's new website and the FAQ section is pretty useless...I can only see reference to 'temporary toilets' :Sad:

Hoping someone might know this...else I'll contact them...thanks.

Hi Neil,

We normally have the use of the Racecourse Caravan Site showers, (as does every man and his dog). They are on the left, as you drive in, (behind the Grandstand). I think they are 50p per shower, and are normally available all week.

I'll second that Jock, good hot showers definitely 50p, and open all the time we are there normally. There is also a tap for filling your tank by there, worth it instead of using bowsers.

I have a number of items the I will be bringing to the STRATFORD SHOW that are for sale. Ther are;

Solar panel battery charger,
Sureflow water pump (boxed),
Top and Bottom hoses for Ducato s/hand,
400x400 new boxed roof skylight,
New boxed bathroon skylight,
Battery Master connection,
Battery condition display from solar panel
2x 21 m polypropylene lines.

If anyone would like further information on these items please pm me.

Hi Jim

I read somewhere else that there is a race meet on the Tuesday, anyone arriving on Tuesday may need to park elsewhere at the track until after the races and then allowed on, might be something that needs to be checked on.

Hi Pat,

Yes Brenda advised me the other day... Those that arrive on Monday should be OK to cross the track (as long as weather permits) otherwise it will be Tuesday night after the 3 hour race meeting.

We have complimentary tickets, so will be up for a flutter

Added to the list is; a new and boxed Fiamma "Safe Door" lock, the type that is bolted through the wall of the van not just attached to the door frame and an unused motorcycle (or two bikes) cover.
