Because the social tent/marquee has been damaged by the wind I am not sure that anything has been organised for tonight now..

Me and a couple of others are going over the bar/restaurant in the main building for a bite to eat and some beers. Does anyone else fancy joining us?

sitting outside in this wind and possible rain doesn't appeal and I did come to see you lot not sit in my van :thumb:

Rain? Wind?

A bit breezy here but plenty of sun as well. I've spent most of the day cutting back a piece of overgrown shrubbery and shredding the results. An hour of shredding tomorrow and I'll have a space big enough to park a small caravan.

So much for that then. A couple of people showed up and excused themselves to go to the bingo... I think people think I meant the tent bar.

Only just seen this Karl. Gwen just got back this afternoon from looking after our daughter in Leeds who had been unwell
She'd had a traumatic journey as the train from Leeds was delayed.
Why?
The Guard had locked himself out of the train at Leeds and it took him nearly 10 mins to get back aboard!
You couldn't make it up!
Gwen missed her connection in?Birmingham despite running as fast as she could. Which isn't very fast as she has had both her knees replaced and arthritis in her back and hip.
She's been crashed out since 7pm

Nice and sunny in Misterton on my 5th pint of local dark beer. Sitting with heyupluv pinkie and tick59. Let's party. ....... pappajohn is doing his chippendale act later wearing a pink tutu and lrather thong with rhubarb supplied by Peter tane.

Hi Karl thanks for the heads up earlier before leaving another time mate, I`m sure .Now ensconced at Leftleggers home qth @ WSM so a beer or two down yer.

hi just got back from a great w/end at misterton ,weather could have been a bit better but the friendliness of everyone especialy shiela /mick and helpers. really enjoyed friday social evening get 2 gether.saturday bbq [brilliant] sunday morning breakfast baps.looking 4ward to saltfleet/ thanks once again to sheila mick and friends for making us so welcome pat & ann:thumb:
