Just contacted Stoneleisure again and they have told me they are having problems with web site.
The lady that I spoke to said that the site should be up and running by Monday 25th.
Hope she is right.

Jim is it possible that we put our name down for this although we can't book until the ticket section is working again. , online is still down and don't fancy giving our details over the phone from Portugal

We would arrive on Monday but have to leave Friday afternoon alas

Sounds good Kath, however, it's not like Warners, where they have a cut off date weeks/months before the event.
Last year we had to cancel our pre-booking, but when (medical) circumstances changed at the last minute, we paid on the gate for more or less the same as the pre-booked price...............and they let us pitch with FUN. "Yep mate, you've been before. Just make your own way down there". "Thanks mate" was our response.

We look forward to catching up with you both.

Think it's the same price Kath I'm not sure . The one year we paid at the gate we paid less than the ones who paid early but I didn't think the person who took the money knew how much to charge . Someone will be along to say I'm sure but it's not a big discount so we always pay on the gate

I normally add this each year....anyone going to Stratford who wants to use a weighbridge, the local trading standards facility is about 2 miles north of Junction 15 on the M40, easy access and for anyone unsure about getting the van weighed, this is a good facility. Nice and clean, loads of room, two weighbridges, so simply a case of drive on with front wheels on one and rear wheels on the other. If you want full authorised certificates, they charge, but if you just want to know the weights, the staff seem only too pleased to advise, well, they have in the past!

I haven't even bothered trying. There is bags of time yet, and as posted previously, you can turn up at the gate, pay the same amount, and be directed to the FUN camping area down at the bottom of the racecourse.
