Hi... Gave the Knaus TI 600 motorhome a spring clean the other day dragging everything out of the garage. I found this piece of string coming out of a Trauma fixing.

Google translate "block off the air sewage tank heating" Auf translates to "ON" whilst Zu translates as "To"
Can I assume you would pull the string up during the winter and pull it down during the summer ? and again is this to prevent the grey water tank freezing.
Any details appreciated.

My translation came up with "String lock sewage tank heating"
I suspect it is a flap on the blow air heating to direct hot air around the tank. Hymer's have a small bore heating feed to the tank areas permanently fed, no valve, I would just leave it on all the time.

I think a round of applause for attempting the spelling in the heading! Can someone tell me how to untie my tongue from trying to pronounce it?
