It's not the first time we've gone onto a pitch that looked level, but then found that the shower tray wasn't draining away.......so what appears level isn't quite as level as you'd want. In cases like this the small ramps might be needed on one side if we're staying for a few days, but otherwise wouldn't bother for just the one night

Didn't want to hang about snapping more pics. The bloke was embarrassed enough!
He tried to get it up that grassy slope in the wet - spun the wheels, dug deep furrows and the slid back into the chalet!

Wasn't around to see them get it out. I guess they used a local farmer's tractor (located on higher and more firmer ground) to pull it up? If they pulled the 'van sideways, it would have pivoted and ripped off the chalet's gutter or worse!

update, just spoke to the owner , he says he has no step so leans to the right for ease of access.
