Strange item that doesn't seem to fit the fridge

I can't make this fit anywhere in the fridge. Anyone any ideas? Dometic RML9335 Pretty sure it doesn't fit anywhere in the door.....

Could it be for the salad basket at the bottom.
Only guessing because I don’t know anything of this fridge type.

If it's too wide for the door it's too wide for the veg/salad box.
Possibly someone put it in there as it looks like it may fit but doesn't, though it could be some kind of home made divider to stop stuff moving about when driving.

It's definitely the divider for the salad drawer , I have the same fridge

The door is narrower than the inside of the fridge as the door fits inside the fridge. Im pretty sure that part slides in those rails you can see inside the fridge on the bottom one and the salad box slides out from under it.

We're obviously being right numptys here. Couldn't see any way to make it fit. When you say divider, how does it go in? Obviously, I don't have access to the van at the moment.
 
I'm sure we had the same quandary as I couldn't think how it fitted, hadn't considered that it was meant to go front to back! Now I just need to remember where I put the ruddy thing!!!😳
