Hi Funsters
Had the M/H 5 about weeks now and only just noticed this strange cable hanging down between rear step and mudflap.
Its not insulated, just appears to be bare wire like an earth cable for instance.
It just goes directly up and disappears into the van body.
Have had a Van Bitz alarm fitted and parking sensors fitted by the dealer. I am wondering if it could be a cable guiding mouse of some sort? left behind inadvertently.
Any thoughts appreciated.

If the end is brass, it could be an outside temperature sensor for a read out in the van ? get someone to hold it in there hand and see if a temperature read out goes up to 38 deg C .

Thanks for the prompt responses, should I do anything with it, or leave well alone?

Performer High Racer 700. It is (was) the best 700 recumbent I could find for touring when it was new.
Unfortunately, as I get older my racing days are over so the recumbent and my carbon race bike are up for sale. I am going to stick with a gravel bike and an ebike as long as possible then I'll rethink at the time.
