Storage in the Netherlands (1 Viewer)

Hi all. Do you nice people know of any storage facilities around the Amsterdam area? It would be ideal for us, as we could fly home from there almost direct.

This might now be a little late since you posted your message in April

However, we are in Amsterdam/Amstelveen area and keep our MH at De Shelter.

Possibility to keep it indoors (we want that and are on the waiting list since March-ish, still outside but under a half roof), they will swap winter/summer tyres for you, they also have a workshop so can do mech/tech repairs. You can choose between service and self-service. IIRC self-Service = You are given a keyfob thing to get in and out, Service = you call them, they pull your MH out and have it ready for you.

Hi.

We have used the storage facilities of Stalling Zeevaarder which is about a 10 minute drive to Schipol Airport at Amsterdam. The gentleman who runs it, Klaas, will also drive you to the airport, or collect you, for 30 Euros. We only leave our van there on short term storage and he charges 2 Euros per day. I would think if you are considering long term storage the costs will be better. Both Klaas and his wife, Alda, speak english and are very nice people. the phone number is 0031235362626. ANYONE thinking of doing this should FIRST contact their insurer and check what the position is with them, as most will NOT insure it whilst it is out of your possession overnight!!!
