Exited Spain earlier than planned and amended ferry from Bilbao to Caen.
Can anyone please recommend either an aire or site approaching Caen from the South for an overnight stopover? TIA

I can recommend Hermanville sur Mer just a short drive to the ferry

We are also on the way to Caen having changed the ferry from Santander, currently at Larouletta at St Jean de Luz but staying tomorrow at a site at Condac called Camping Le Réjallant, also Le Futuriste at Poitiers is open.
Our ferry is the 11 pm one on Sunday night.

Villiers Bocage, no dump or water but an hour from Caen, nice town free from migrants with good shops.

Peaceful little just outside Caen. Good reviews on SFS and personal experience

In fact i was the first to review it. A couple of 10/10s nothing lower than a 6/10 Average of 8.52/10

Good shops? Unless a supermarket pharmacy or fuel station, by tomorrow night they won't be opening apparently. No mention of boulangeries though so you may have to eat cake!
