We are planning a trip to Italian lakes, via Switzerland. Can any Funsters recommend aires/Stellplatz/free stop overs.

We met two visitors from Switzerland two weeks ago in Cornwall. They told us that you are ALLOWED to sleep (NOT CAMP) in your van anywhere for a maximum of 24 hours. May see you there.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Plan for us is to leave uk around 21 aug, return end of sept, rest of itinerary flexible depends on weather and mr Parkinson.
