dose anybody know of safe places to stop over night in germany on way to the dolomites

The Bord Atlas book is a good buy because it has Aires all over Europe.

Best idea is to get a guide - Bord Atlas is good. But they are not difficult to spot if you keep an eye open!

Most of Germany is safe.. Look for Stellplatz signs..

We have just spent a few days at the Stelplatz in Aachen. 24 hour entry, clean, good heated facilities, 10 euro including electric and services. Most are in Camperstop.

Stellplatz are great places to stay. I have found 'Camperstop' a great publication and you can buy all the GPS co-ordinates of the sites separately. Germany is a great destination, we're off again this year. Just take plenty of cash as we found the use of credit cards is not as widespread as France.
