A COUPLE’S holiday was ruined after discovering on the day of the trip that thieves had stolen the motorhome they planned to stay in.
Betty Scopes, 63, and her husband Morris, 63, had packed their bags, put their dog in a kennel, booked a camp site and were ready for a weekend in Skegness.
But when they went to The Willows campsite in West Row to collect the motorhome they had parked there for the previous month, they found that it had been stolen.
All that was left of their vehicle was a few bits of broken glass.
Betty said: “The motorhome cost us almost £20,000 to buy.
