Looks like someone wanted my van as a Christmas present. They didn't even ask...
STOLEN: white 2003 Suzuki Carry, EG03 HHU. Converted as a tiny campervan, gre...en leaves lovingly stuck on the rear drivers' side, snub nosed, small and boxy - it's not flash but it's a lovely wee van. And it's mine. Taken from outside my flat in NW6 roughly between 6.30 & 8pm tonight. I don't suppose I will see it again, but if by some miracle you spot it, please let the police, or me or Alan know. Thanks, all.

That's a cutey ... What sort of ass thinks it's ok to take things that don't belong to them..

Did you do your own conversion? I hope the insurance covers it for you and you can be back rolling soon..

thats a bugger they want hanging above a hot tar pit by their dangly bits. I hope its spotted soon.

Sorry to hear about your van mate, fingers crossed you may get it back, maybe someone just took it to get them home and now dumped it,,, as so many cameras and anpr camera's might just pick it up if it moves again, Fingers crossed mate. Regards Garry Flatpackchicken

If you have a Facebook account I would post the pic and info and get people to Share it.

That's the best way to get it out there, Facebook, a lot more people will see it than on here, hope you get it back in one piece.

so sorry to hear that @2bob , I really hope your lovely little van finds its way home

I've put it on my faceless account - just in case.

If I put what I thought of people who think it is okay to do things like this I would have a life ban.

Very sorry to hear your van has been stolen. Do hope it will be recovered without any significant damage.

Years ago, we had a sports car - Triumph TR4A - pinched from outside our flat in NW3. It was recovered a couple of days later - parked across somebody's driveway, where it had run out of fuel.

Trust you can get things sorted - it looks a cool camper.

Cheers, Mike

These people should have their "dangley bits" put into a vice with the handle removed , , inside a nice wooden shed. Then you set fire to the shed and pass them a hacksaw !!!!
And a merry christmas to you all !!
I'm sure we all sincerely hope you get your van back... Mitch... :xThumb:

9 replies, not one of them read the original properly.

It was posted at 1.35pm and edited at 1.59pm - I suspect to add 'sorry this is not mine just passing it on'

If this is the case then the first lot of posters probably did read it correctly and pass their commiserations on directly to 2bob.

I did but I assumed Tootles was being ironic:xrofl:

But, seriously, I hope the owner gets it back.....

And yes mitch and Mrs P, pass the matches:xThumb:

Ah well, at least our hearts were in the right place and we each have a 'sympathy' post in credit :xgrin:

Phew! just saved my credibility by 2 minutes :xThumb:

Still hope the owner - whoever they are - gets the van back safe and sound

Or you can fit more in a shipping container.

No problem I took out all the references to "mine" and "my" when I put it on faceless. Told anyone who saw it to contact the police. :)

No matter who it belonged to it is a blow :xsad:

They do seem to be very popular with the thieves at the moment..
Probably because they are easy to steal and cheap to run.. I believe they are VERY popular in certain African countries
