LONDON PLEASE SHARE: On July 22nd 2017 between 11 am and 12.30 pm my Ford chausson camping van (Flash 04) which had a Honda msx 125 attached to the back was stolen in bright daylight on Fonteney road/Bedford hill in Balham. I was just starting a road trip through the UK. The original german license plate is DA-PS-2301 but might have been exchanged for a UK plate. If anyone spots the vehicle or has any clues, please contact me. Any help is appreciated.

So sorry to hear of your lose, we were parked up in Balham at the time and were taking to a guy who said he had had two stolen form outside his house over the last couple of years again in day light.

Keys and readers are available on Amazon and ebaY but the authorities are not doing anything to clamp down on these sales to thieves.

They are also winching them onto breakdown trucks. No one bats an eye as they think the vehicle has broken down. Then number plate recognition doesn't read the plates on the transported vehicle.

Fords seem an easy target. If I owned one I would be improving the security.

I feel sorry for them but its a lesson to us all to beef up our own security , if they want it the toerags will find a way we just have to make it harder for them to get it .

Everyone involved in this will be on a hundred cameras within the first mile. London and routes in and out have more cameras than anywhere else.
