I just thought I would mention what has been happening in the south west, some unsavoury characters have been stealing large quantities of catalytic convertors from new vehicles on dealers forecourts. :Sad:

It may be that they are interested in large quantities but I would advise people to be on the look out as it may be to tempting if they spot a new vehicle

One of the girls at work boyfriend had his nicked last week from out side the house, they just cut it off. The same night they nicked 12 from the local garage forcourt. In some cases they are £1000 to replace. Not sure if they are nicking them for resale or for the Platinum they contain.

You can get paid up to £75 from the local scrap yard for an old cat!
An exhaust cutter costs about a tenner and cuts them in seconds!
Nice little earner for those that way inclined!
