Should my b2b charger be connected to the neg side of the starter battery as well as the neg side of the hab battery's ?

Mine is not a Stirling but my b2b is connected leisure+ to engine+ and leisure- to a good chassis-

Had a leak in our double floor and the b2b charger and inverter were sat in half an inch of soppy water, got a shock when trying to dry it out.

Inverter seems to work but not sure of the fan on it, but have not seen the charger do much since. No fuses blown but no start up of the charger either

expensive bit of kit, get a sparky to check it over.

Sterling have a good repair service. The B2B is permanently connected, add water to a powered up PCB and it might be all over for it!
If it was not connected, a good drying out before reconnection would have got it going possibly.

I wold ask Sterling for a diagnostic and quote for repair. They turn around units quite quickly.

I had one fitted on my last van and from memory it was connected to the positive side only.

Great bit of kit
