Step switch

My step goes out or in at the speed of a bullet. That's OK except they've put the step switch on the same block as the light switch and awning light. It's so easy to inadvertently touch the step switch.

If you're standing outside watch your shins. If you're on the step.. what happens? Does the step have a weight sensor or would it retract from under your feet. Dread to think.

After the chair clamming you ,don't try and see what happens with the steps

Wait to you start to step up and your driver starts the engine, instant step retract!

If it's a Thule step, standing on it and trying to retract it just rips the teeth of the plastic gear in the motor, I have the buggered motor to prove it.

Ours is the same except there is another light switch. When we come back at night I reach in to switch the light on just in case I hit the step switch.
