If anyone is heading for this, a decision will be made on tomorrow morning (Saturday) not sure when, if the ride will terminate half way up due to snow overnight and during the day at the pass. Been raining most of the day here in Prada Stilferjoch. Usual entertainment has been canned so not looking good.

Looks like a Sunday/Monday ascent with the traffic and a low level ride to Nauders tomorrow. Hey ho!

Snow....now!!......We went over in the van 2 years ago in the middle of September, no snow thankfully.

Yep, event shortened due to snow. Even snow on surrounding mountains!

Going to give it a bash tomorrow, we have a friend with us who is desperate to go up the pass and is flying home on Tuesday.

Looking for the sun at the present for next week as there is none here just now, only cloud and rain!

For what it's worth, one of you favourite campsites is there, Camping Sagemuller. Real up market site. Lovely area for a push bike. And strangely the local language is German.

We are in the other campsite, I get the impression that there is s connection between the two.

As a result of the weather we have done no for cycling but hopefully this will change tomorrow. Having to resurrect my very poor German as well!
