If you have a good signal when going directly to the amplifier then it can only be a cable issue between that and the socket. Check the back of the socket and the connection to the amplifier. And make sure the amplifier is turned on :)

many many years! since I was a kid
if one socket works but the other not, I would suspect a wire is unplugged or broken, or the plugs badly fitted with the core touching the outer braid

many many years! since I was a kid
I fixed a van with a similar fault the other week for a friend. Everything looked like it was connected fine but no signal. The coaxial wire run behind the cupboards was super skinny, so easy to damage. I ran a new wire with new F plugs down the van. One end to the amplifier in the wardrobe and the other to the tv via an F plug converter. Tuned the tv and got 100 plus channels. Before it was getting none

Job done perfect picture also wired a couple of USB double sockets and switches in while doing this job thanks for advice from other members
