I am looking for a starter Motorhome or Camper to get me around Europe. I have a limited budget and so am not expecting anything fancy - possibly an early to mid 90's Motorhome. Reliability is the key for me.

Thanks for looking.

Nice one Bill.
It's turbo diesel with power steering, great practical living space and a modern bathroom.
Being almost 30 years old, it could be a shed but based on the advert it looks about as good as you can hope for at £5-6k

On and off for many years.
Checking on the gov.uk website the vehicle has an MOT, runs out May 2018 but is untaxed. I would have expected to see a SORN.

If not too far from you it might be worth going to look at and asking a few questions.

Many thanks everyone. I have been thinking and I know a couple of car mechanics. I am thinking of paying obe of them to come with me and give any vehicles I consider the once over.

I wont rush into a purchase but I do need to act fairly swiftly.

He appears to be a dealer & sorn doesn't apply to them. Different rules.

Unfortunately I do not know anybody that is familiar with motorhomes. I will have a read through the buyers guide on here and hopefullt that with a mechanic will limit the risk og getting ripped off!

Might be able to get some sort of limited warranty from a dealer but with the price being as it is then it will be very limited. At the very least a full service (and make sure you get the parts that have been replaced plus the boxes for the components that have been put in). :)
