so I'm heading off Friday night from Staffordshire and we are booked on the haven site at Weymouth from Sunday . Any nice places to stay on the way down. Members of all clubs don't mind carparks etc .

If you are in no hurry to put the miles on.... Google (Tudor Caravan Park, Slimbridge)

Fabulous site, Bar/Restaurant on site..... lovely canal walks...

Cafe & Shop right by the tow path and "swing bridge".. Do a cracking breakfast and if it`s nice sit out and eat and watch all the various boats go by..

Stopped a few times ... (y)

im a not so newbie
No space at the inn Fully booked

Try the Farmers Arms at Apperly

They do food and brew their own beer :)

Easy access into Tewkesbury from there, or vice versa (y)

A walk down by the Mill is worth a go as well, or you can walk along the river bank.

If the weather is good Cleeve Hill over looking Cheltenham is worth a go as well.
