Anyone ever driven this ? We're thinking about it for our next french roadtrip as we'll base at St Jean for a few days. Not keen on teeny roads and hairpin bends, hubby seems to think it's probably motorway and tunnels.

Thanx both, I am now beyond excitement :D Hubby was desperate to do it while we were in St Jean for a few days, but I insisted we'd not encounter one decent road. I admit, for once, the male of the unit was right :Eeek: ....... pleased he's not here to see that tho :whistle2:

We whent the direct route which can be a bit through the houses and the motorway might have been better but no big problems, the Aire at St Jean is tight for 8.5 metre van but the one at San Sebastián is huge.

Yep, definitely agree on the St Jean aire. Someone parked in front of us at some point the second time, that was interesting to get out of !!! We stayed on a nearby ACSI campsite in Erromardie which was fab, Bords du Mer, tho there were another 2 next to it so no shortage of berths.
