Hi Paul

Did you ever find the cause? We have what I guess is the same annoying oven area squeak in our 794i…..
Today I found it... I'm going back to the bus with a set of tools and I'll do a write-up. Right hand side of the oven is a trim panel secured with screws. Gave these a tweak whilst 'er indoors was barreling down the M4 and it stopped.. Banging!
Coupled with the mod I did to the skylight, I have a silent bus :) Only taken 3 years.

As promised...
On the right hand side of the oven is a trim panel which is held against the drawer cabin by a 'sticky pad'. This, over time has lots its adhesive properties and allows the piece of trim to move. The screws holding the trim panel were loose, the lower one was 3/4 of the way out. By moving the trim I could replicate the squeak.
Tightened up the screws holding the trim pieces and inserted a thin shim between the trim and the cabinet and its done. No more squeaking.
Happy Days.
