I like "out-of-the-box" thinking when it comes to engineering, and one of my favourite recent inventions was the Gravity Light.

My latest fave however is to the Hövding, a revolutionary, invisible bike helmet. It's not a joke, honest! Here's a picture of someone wearing one.

Yep. I had one of those but it messed my hairstyle up too much every time I was in an accident, so got the real thing.
