Just back from Speedcoat at Ludlow. David and his right hand man, Andre, made a great job of repairing our sink and shower tray. We had hairline cracks in both and a major crack in the sink back where it takes the weight of the sink when in use. Please don’t judge me on the dirty washroom, we were just back from 3 rallies on the trot and I hadn’t had time to clean before he asked for photos! 😱

Looks very good to me. What do they charge for this service and where are they situated?
Thanks. Phil

Shower tray £350, sink and back £250. Plus vat.
We didn’t mind going as I had been in contact with another IH 630 rl owner who had been there. A whole new replacement Cleo sink unit less money but as you can see we couldn’t get it out. Also we know ours is now stronger than original.
We stayed overnight in town and enjoyed the couple of days there but there was an offer to stay at the unit in the van - but we wanted to be comfortable
Looks good, bathrooms filthy :whistle2::think::getmecoat:
Too true

What a coincidence! Just looking up their warranty terms - we had a crack in shower tray repaired by Speedcoat under dealer warranty. (Could have had the tray replaced, but that would have entailed a complex removal and refit, and if the original tray cracked at 2 years old, who’s to say replacement would have lasted much longer?)

But today we’ve noticed a slight tear and lifting where the Speedcoat meets the original tray. Appears to be on 10 year warranty, so we’ll contact the dealer when we get back to UK.

Yes, we were given a 10 year warranty.

Had my shower tray done as you cannot get a replacement anymore, looks great and wasn’t that bad £300. Sink was painted as it was discoloured, when I stripped it down ready for paint it was actualily repaired before but very poorly, stripped back and reinforced with fibreglass Matt and resin. You would think it was a brand new sink.
