Speed from tethered phone to laptop (1 Viewer)

Right I am using the app that allows you to use the laptop tethered or wireless on 3 all you can eat data

Now download speed good but upload and pings speeds are miles faster than home

Just tried my connecting using the same Maidenhead server, and a wireless connection to my laptop.

Result was up 0.36 Down 2.41 and ping 56ms

Your result was C+ - wonder what mine was, as I didn't see it anywhere.

Odd thing is, my laptop still feels lightning fast even without a good result like yours.

Incidentally, I'm with AOL, and supposed to be getting 20mb downloads!

If you want faster speeds at home, snip the bell wire in your phone's wall socket. This uses energy and is of no use, as modern phones don't have bells to power - give it a few days, and you will see speeds increase.

I am on all you can eat data from 3, It was renewed yesterday start of the month, watch so BBC I player and wiped out 1 gb worth.
