Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
When I set up my safari room there is a spare pole with a hook at either end , one end fits into the other and its free moving. They easily come apart and could be two Induvidual poles.
Any ideas?

Yeah its called the 'Grab-it' bar. Basically when the wind gets up & it rips out the awning rail you can use either end to hook in & grab it before it takes off !!

Any sober thoughts?

Yes seriously, when my safari room took off from my rv canopy I was pleased to have that pole to hand.

The Grabit Pole??

If your grabit pole is the same as my grabit pole then its a rafter support. It goes from the front of the awning in the centre where there is a bracket, to the casing on the van where there is a similar one.It just hooks over and you adjust the tension.Regards BB:thumb:

Thanks Barry bus however I have the 3 required spring loaded poles. This in essence a pole that fits inside another pole with a hook on the end of each one.
Don't see any obvious use for it ! There's no way to tension or lock them together.

A Woosh bang
sounds like it may be a Veranda bar..

clip between the two front poles and role the front panel down half way

Yep, agree with the above post, it is the veranda bar for when you unzip the front halfway and fold it over. For when it is hot and sunny :ROFLMAO:
