    Hi, we are sorting through parents stuff and there is some AF spanners are they of any use now days ? If yes can any funsters make use of them ? Mechanics is not my top subject , ha ha?

    too far from me unfortunately.

    AF spanners are getting rare in the shops these days.

    If any good to you, I might go to Newark but definitely be at peterborogh if that helps.

    thanks for the offer, but as our RV is on eBay from 6pm tonight i dont know when we'll be away again.

    I still have all my Gardner Whitworth spanners - some right looking weird ones for the 8LXB's, bent ones for all sorts of jobs and ones with a flat on one end made for hammering.

    Those were the days lad......:roflmto:

    I've still got a more less full set of A/F sockets. They fit metric nuts quite well if you have a large enough hammer.

    AF spanners are useful to me as I have a lot of very old equipment. But they are heavy I guess, still if you are ever in Devon I'd love them.

    Hi, if you know any body going to the peterborogh show or Newbury I could give them to them for you. Just thought better for some body to get some use. Out of them. :Smile:
