Go to Spain get some winter sun they said, so we did been in Alcossebre 4 days and had half hours worth of sun just to tease us, its really rather chilly here. Booked here (Playa Tropicana) for another week then we'l head further South in search of the yellow ball of flame. ?

Quite pleasant here at Villajoyosa, not red hot but it’s around 16deg or so and sunny.

Stunning day yesterday near Mojacar, Almeria - wall-to-wall gin clear blue sky.

Cooler and cloudier today.

Christmas period was warm and sunny and forecast is looking OK going forward...

We left Tropicana at the end of October and the weather was changing then. I’ve heard many people say that the Spanish winters are pretty wet and chilly recently.

We are in the motorhome in North Yorkshire. It’s been pretty good here today, sunshine and very mild for January. We’ve been to the pub and just had delicious fish and chips. The UK has a lot to offer and so much cheaper.

Left there on Christmas Eve and the weather had been really settled for the month we were there ?
We had a really good evening at a newish bar with good entertainment at the main road end of Caleta opposite the bus station.

Not sure how long it’s been open as we’ve never seen it before.

Doesn't look like it's there on street view so probably new. We going home tomorrow. Was great to miss out all the Christmas faff and top up the tan, was an expensive week mind ? oh well, Benidorm awaits in April ?
