s-l500.jpg Hello people.
Anyone have a spare Spanish adaptor for gaslow they can sell me?
We changed vans 3 months ago and lost ours in the process and was hoping someone might have a spare lying about and wouldn't mind selling it?
We are of to Spain in 12 days so we need one.
Thanks in advance.
Like the one in the pic.

The garages I've been told usually do but one last year didn't have them so I want to be on the safe side and carry one.

I have a baynet fitting and I'm sure that's what was used in Spain.

I have the standard gaslow filler with bayonet, thought no adapter needed in Spain, but I might be having brain meltdown. ;)

bayonet is UK, The ones being shown in other peoples pictures are the Spanish/Euro adaptor

So has bayonet never been used in Spain? I've filled in 3 different places in Spain and I'm sure no adaptor was used?

We topped up with gas in Spain yesterday and needed the 'Spanish' adapter, in Portugal we needed the bayonet one.

We needed the cup one in Portugal, I have still got that one, that one I didn't lose in the move.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to order one tomorrow.

France normally.
I'm fortunate on mine that I have a 'cup' one with the 'acme' thread around the outside so I just have the 2 adaptors 'bayonet' for the Uk & 'euro' for Here in Spain

isnt it known as the italian cup. though.
i remember the old malaga gas place by the beach used acme thread
the petrol station out on the industrial ste used to have two versions of the euro adaptor
the thread on one was normal but they also had a smaller finer thtread adaptor i believe for fitting to some italian setups . forget the name now .
i like the cup system its possibly the easiest one .
but the acme is still used here in uk . certainly calor still have it on their residential tanks . i have one here .
its handy for filling my fork lift truck bottles up. ha ha .

Yes mine was built in Italy and is probably why it has the dual cup/acme. I've only seen/used cup in France & I believe the Germans favoured acme , although I've never filled there.
