Spain will accept the UK’s proof of COVID-19 vaccination record and proof of COVID-19 vaccination issued in the Crown Dependencies. Your final vaccine dose must have been administered within 14 days prior to travel....

Copied this from the latest Gov Update this morning. Does it really mean WITHIN 14 days?

I would hope it’s a misprint. Surely it should read as the vaccine booster needs to have been administered more than 14 days prior to travel.
You never know though, there have been some very strange rules invented during the last couple of years.

No should be no less than 14 days ago

Totally agree and hopefully a mistake - otherwise I guess no one will be able to travel to Spain!!! I know of no way you could get a vaccination to order especially if you already have had your double + booster!

The strange thing is that 3 paragraphs up it states "at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain", probably an error but this could easily confuse people. There was also an error last week about 12 year olds and travel but it was corrected the following day

Thanks Gus - why do civil servants no longer proof read documents and apply even a small amount of common sense before publishing documents!

Hopefully Funsters about to depart for Spain will see this thread and not worry.

I wonder if there is a time limit after the last dose before it expires I think for Austria it's 6 months
