We are thinking of cancelling our sailing from Santander and slowly driving up to Calais, does anybody have an update experience about crossing the Spanish/French border…..probably on the eastern side of Spain 🇪🇸 🚍🤞

We crossed on the 28th June via the Vielha tunnel from Spain in a Spanish registered motorhome, diverted into the old border check point they just waved us through, on the Spanish side of the road they had a barrier and guardia Civil was checking all vehicles. 😁 Bob.

We re thinking the same although not quite yet. Ive asked a few people who have come this way into Spain without issues but no-one going into France. I'm not really expecting problems although bobandjanie are I believe on Spanish plates.

Bit of a lottery withe colours right now but heyho.

We came back through Santander in our car for ease.

Even if we were in the motorhome I would have done the same
I agree its easier to get into spain that way, but going back home is much easier via France for us, particularly now we need to go straight home. Particularly as our access is not one to be tackled in anything other than good light and either Spanish ferries only offer afternoon arrivals.

A lot of sources quoting 26th July as date for q10 to finish for double jabbed Hotelman MITHRANDIR
But will it only apply to those who leave & return AFter the 26th? the same as it doesn't not apply to double jabbed Brits, with digital certificates who are not UK residents?

I can't see why they would, but you can never say never

Yes, I have used it a few times both ways from Saint-Lary Soulon

I just can't remember where someone crossed the other day.
