The time has arrived to start creating a firmer list of MotorhomeFUN members who still wish to attend 'Spain Malaga 2014' (5th - 25th march) allowing everyone lots of time to consider making firmer plans.

To follow is the 'provisional list' created on the forum earlier this year. See below (Other Information) for further details and the price agreed for during the above dates.

:thumb: Please now post if you wish to either update\cancel\confirm your attendance and I will then adjust the list accordingly.

To remind you - Other Information:

Manilva is situated as a base from which you can explore Andalucía, with its picturesque white towns and villages nestling in the region’s mountains, to its historic cities such as Seville, Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. Just a short hop across the Strait of Gibraltar from continental Africa, namely Ceuta and Morocco. Gibraltar (duty free) is a 30 minute drive. The nearest village is Manilva or the town of Puerto de la Duquesa both a few minutes' walk or cycle along the beach front.

Price negotiated is €14 (Euro) a day per van, to include 1 or 2 people and includes electricity (16amp) and wifi. A calendar month can be negotiated once you are there if you so wish. A figure of €360 has been mentioned but electric will then be charged separately, so that will not be far off the €14 anyway.

This is a pop 'in - out meeting.' there are no formal arrangements or travel plans. There is no commitment to stay the whole 3 weeks people can arrive at any point and stay as long or as short as they like. We are setting these weeks as a guideline to say that's when we are having the "do". Hopefully as we get nearer the time we can plan things to make sure everyone is fitted in. However, they are selling pitches for long stayers, so it cannot be ruled out that restriction on numbers will be applied. As already mentioned, we have an allocation of 30 spaces at present. Naturally, you can also come and go when you want and pay the normal site rates at times / dates that suit you subject to their availability in the event they do not agree to increase the numbers. Tonka and Mr Motorhome are in contact with Rudi (site manager) and will keep him informed.

There is no commitment and no deposit, this is all being arranged with goodwill.

Note: we have been told the weekend of 28th feb 2014 is 'Andalucía Day' a public holiday in this part of Spain (Malaga) and many sites will be very busy. This MotorhomeFUN gathering is to start on 5th - 25th March 2014 (three weeks)

You can visit the La Bella Vista web site HERE for more details regarding the facilities and services, or Broken Link Removed for the campsite rules.

Co-ordinates are :> n36.20.46 w5.14.11 - Mapcode: (Spain) kv8.cnq - Gps: n36 20.771 w5 14.185

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Thanks, MrMotorhome (Andrew) for starting the update..

Any questions. Please ask... We expect the site to get busier then when we visited in early 2013 and the 30 places could be our maximum. However, nearer the date we will know for sure...People also sometimes have to change plans so the members listed above 30 may still have a chance...

Please add us to the list, we'll be in the area anyway so we would like the full three weeks:thumb:.

We would like to attend the whole period 5-25th. Please put us down as confirmed. 2 people no pets.

We'll probably come for a few days but can't confirm dates yet - hell, I'm having a problem planning next week!!!:Wink::Wink:

Just a thought though - make sure Rudi has everything up and running properly - keep on his back!
We were there mid April for 3 nights - no wi-fi working at all! Everyone complaining to him but nothing happening - we know some long-termers there and they were furious!
Infrequent bar/restaurant opening times - not as advertised!
Not many people on site then either - less than when the Funsters were there!

Hi Andrew, Thank you for the update. Pam and I are planning to attend the Bella Vista Rally from the 5th - 25th March 2014.

Hi Andrew, can you take us off the list, as we don't plan on going that far south at the moment, if we do we will take our chances on a pitch being available.

It will give someone else a chance to go. :thumb: Bob and Jane.

Yes keep us on but only for the last 2 week

what is the last date we can confirm if we can attend

what is the last date we can confirm if we can attend

Bill.. As you can see from the list.. There are enough to fill the allocated 30 pitches already but people are changing plans. I would add to list and you can always check nearer the date..

I suspect some people may not attend for the whole 3 weeks as some could be passing through and having a "fun" stopover... Once we get closer to the time, Andrew and myself will try to arrange pitches and make the best use of them. We will do our best to get more pitches should the need arise..

ok mate can you add me and also pete ( knuckledragger) we will be on for the whole 3 weeks maybe longer if all goes well we are also maybe looking at this site for new year

Remember Easter follows this meet.. Spanish campsites will be busy and I think they are expecting a big turnout at Bella Vista so space may not be available.. Would need to check later...
I hear a FUN new year is taking place in Benidorm as lots are planning to be there...

I must admit we had a lot of fun last new year in Benidorm we also managed to celebrate it twice, once in English time and in Spanish time.
