Spain Electric bike insurance

Thought I would put this up as I seem to remember a post asking about Electric bike insurance in Spain, I think (if memory serves me well in my old age) that people thought you had to have it. This link is to the Spanish police site and theyBroken Link Removed answer the question.

Err, yes & no. If my memory serves me correctly , & if they haven't changed it , then it is helmet in town & no out in country side.
