Just over 1,000 miles traveled from Santander in16 days. Grey, miserable weather. 50k north of Valencia on a good aire in a really heavy rain storm. Guess we will keep heading north cos there seems to be no change in this weather.

We came down on 03 March via Santiago, Porto and Algarve. Now in La Cala and the weath has even mostly terrible all of the time. They do need the water though.

Look on the bright side…… without a plague of locusts or the four horsemen of the apocalypse it can only get better…….
“…….oh look…. What is that big grasshopper doing here?” :whistle2:

Traveling down today from Calais weather has been glorious heading towards Bordeaux in nice little aire north of Rouen 😀tonight
Can you pls send details of the aire you are on. We pass that way regularly.
Thanks 👍

It wasn't last year
We had a house near Marbella for 12 years . March was always cold damp and windy. There might have been the odd exceptions but we never went in March because of the weather.

We have lived in Spain for 23 years....this is our worst spell of bad weather but the country is in dire need for rain.... what's happened with checking the forecast before travelling somewhere....saves a costly sum in diesel alone.....🤔🇪🇦👍

We flew out there from 3rd to 14th March. Miserable. Heading back to the house Via Santander with Grandchildren in April. Easter has always been poor weather. Hoping after what will be 5-5 weeks of bad weather, it will improve and be a nice Easter for a change.

As some may know, we crossed into France on Wednesday and were heading down to the East side of Spain but decided, with the weather looking horrendous there for a week at least, to detour and head down to Bordeaux and then into Northern Spain/Portugal which has great weather predicted for a good while. We're currently at Sanguinet SW of Bordeaux next to the lake and today it must have been at least 25 degrees at times and not much less at others. We spend a lovely few hours on the beach with the dogs having a play in the sand, snuffling in the vegetation, paddling etc ... Tazzy was in heaven frog and bug hunting. Will be doing similar again tomorrow as the forecast is very good once more.

go to Brittany !

I am looking for a small house there.

Had my shorts on today….. :giggle:
I've had my shorts on for the last 3 weeks :coolest:
We may have had a "bit of rain" on the Mar Menor but it's still warmer than a Yorkshire summer:winky:
