Has anyone travelled to Extramadura and the Portuguese coast between Lisbon and Porto during late January/February? If so any advise on weather, routes, camp sites would be appreciated.

done it in January. Very windy every days and coastal road full of pot holes.

Hi.
Posted this before. Parque Foz Do Arelho email. Pacfozdoarelho@gmail.com just above lisbon on an inlet,here you would be a bit sheltered if the wind gets up. Figueira da Foz. Has an Aire but that is a bit more exposed,just up the coast is our favourite(Nearest) beach Praia de Mira,about a mile inland is Mira Town. Intermarche have Fuel, dump point/fresh water/Laundry etc. Cooked meals at lunch time and i do believe that if you asked you could perhaps stay over in their car park,just a guess. Enjoy whatever.
NOTE. Often at Praia when we have a jaunt over winter time,the sand has blown over onto the main road along the beach front.......... Do you feel lucky ?
